Zorro’s 10,000km Run
Chinese endurance runner Zorro (Long Shao) is undertaking an extraordinary challenge: running 100 kilometers every day for 100 consecutive days, aiming to complete a total of 10,000 kilometers. He has officially submitted an application to Guinness World Records, and the attempt is currently underway in accordance with Guinness guidelines. He is now on Day 58, with the challenge progressing steadily.
His daily runs are documented and shared HERE on Strava. Take a look and you’ll be blown away by not only how consistent the days are, but how fast. 37-year-old Zorro is a seasoned runner, having competed in numerous events across marathons, ultra-trail and triathlon. He’s no cloud too, with a 100k personal best of 6:45:27. Zorro is also no stranger to big challenges. In 2020–2021 he ran around China for 365 consecutive days, racking up a total distance of 22,464km. in 2021 he circumnavigated Hainan Island, covering 760 km in 148 hours. Most recently, in 2022 Zorro ran around Qinghai Lake, which is a staggering 365 km in just 62 hours!

Project 10,000 KM: 100 Days Running Challenge
- Format: 100 consecutive days, 100 km per day
- Total distance: 10,000 km
- Location: Shunde, Guangdong, China
- Course: Fixed out-and-back 10.8 km loop with controlled 2-minute refuelling stops
- Documentation: GPS tracking and continuous video records
- Current status: Day 58, 5,800 km completed (Updated daily in real time; specific days can be viewed on Zorro’s Strava account)
- Performance metrics: 9.5–10.5 hours daily; avg. HR ~130 BPM
- Community impact: 10,000+ guest runners have joined the challenge
The challenge has officially been submitted to Guinness World Records and is currently underway in accordance with Guinness guidelines.
