Get All Barred Up with Endura Energy Bars
Whether it be for recovery or nutrition during a long race, scientifically formulated energy bars are one of the most efficient and effective forms of food we can consume. They’re generally high in all the good stuff and delivered in a relatively tasty and easily digestible form. But there are bars, and there are these guys!
The Endura Energy Bar is the most comprehensive source of nutrients and energy we have come across in the sports bar category. They have a perfectly balanced mix of all the vitamins, minerals and carbs you can need for either post event recovery, or for some solid fuel in the middle of an ultra. Having tried several other products over the years, it was a huge surprise to discover just how superior these bars were to others.
When it comes to eating them on the run, yes, they are larger than most other bars in the market, but the high amounts of energy (More than a 1000kJ) and perfect balance of other valuable nutrients makes one of these bars worth almost double most others you’ll come across. The taste is a pleasure on the palate and they’re quite easy to eat while jogging. In terms of digestion, so far we haven’t had any issues and find that they don’t leave you feeling full nor do they sit in your guts for half an hour.
The price is a little higher than you’re probably use to paying for a box of muesli bars, but hey, you get what you pay for!
