Chris Truscott – Next Stop, Canberra Half!
A few stronger sessions and another faster Park run 5km are starting to come through which is providing some confidence as I approach my first longer race next Sunday at the Canberra Half marathon. Whilst the balls of my feet/toes are still not 100% I am managing the training well. I have just received a pair of the NB 980 fresh foam shoes and these feel great. Additional cushioning throughout the whole foot providing a more comfortable run. They are also reasonably lightweight so I am weighing up whether to race the half in them as well.
