Cadbury Marathon – Records before the race even starts
RECORDS have tumbled even before race favourites Matt Fenech and Kirstin Molloy start pounding the pavement in this year’s Cadbury Marathon in Hobart on Sunday.
Not only will the field of 2500 runners be a record number of participants, record interstate and international entries have also signed on for the event.
Race director Richard Welsh also supects that the women’s race record could also be under threat from 2012 marathon champion, Molloy, 33, of NSW.
