Nike Structure 16+
The Nike structure 16+ is now sixteen years deep in its life cycle and if the new shoes are anything to go by, moderate to severe over pronators can rest assured that their arches will be well catered for, for many years to come.
The Nike Structure 16+ is built for the moderate to severe over-pronator looking for a light and responsive everyday trainer. For those who are coming back to the Nike Structure after missing a few generations- the first thing you will notice is that Nike has put the Structure on a diet. Weight saving measures such as; Flywire and a new dynamic support system that replaces the traditional lateral post that has featured in every shoe until now. Since 2008, Nike has managed to shave 42grams from the Structure, with out losing the comfort and ride quality that made these shoes so popular with over-pronators.
After trialling more than twenty pairs of shoes this year from different makes and models I have no hesitation in saying the Nike Structure 16+ is the most complete training shoe I’ve ever had. The Nike Structure 16+ performed well on the trails and sand but came into it’s own on the pavement.
For the moderate over-pronator who struggles with plantar fasciitis or shin splints we highly recommend you try this shoe.
